Utah State Board of Regents

Since it’s formation in 1969, the Utah Board of Regents has governed the Utah System of Higher Education (USHE). The eighteen member board is made up of sixteen regents appointed by the Governor of Utah, which includes a student regent and two nonvoting members from the State Board of Education. As the tenth public institution of higher education in the USHE, the Utah College of Applied Technology and its nine campuses fall directly under the governance of the Board of Regents.
