The West Valley Training Center (WVTC) is an excellent example of College-to-Business partnerships. In October of 2006, the WVTC moved into a new building at 2221 South 5370 West, West Valley City, in the middle of the Warner Truck Center, the largest Freightliner Dealer west of the Mississippi.The new facility greatly expanded the resources and training opportunities in all of the programs which make up the Transportation Technologies division at the SLTATC. Being in such close proximity to a major transportation center as well, enables students at the WVTC to have direct interaction with the latest technologies and practices used in today's dynamic transportation industries.

The West Valley Training Center hosts all of the College's programs in Transportation Technologies.
