Course: Clinical Laboratory Assistant

Course Description
This course will prepare you to become a Clinical Laboratory Assistant or CLA. You will learn the procedures for preparing patient specimens for examination and how to assist laboratory technicians under the direction of a laboratory technologist as they assist professionals who perform diagnostic specimen testing of body fluids in hospitals, private laboratories, medical offices, and research facilities.

Certificate
Completion of this course certifies proficient CLA skills based on a score of 80% or higher on competency exams. A Certificate of Technical Competency is available upon request.
