Media Technologies

Whether you’re gearing up for a career, updating your knowledge of new technology, or starting up a new hobby, training in Media Technologies will help you learn how to use computers and other tools to express ideas and communicate solutions. Through these courses you will gain the skills you need to succeed in today's ever-evolving digital photography, computer graphics, Web design and programming, desktop publishing, and video production environments.

Industry Overview
Which career track interests you? Professional Web Designers are masters of the visual arts found on today’s websites. They create a look and feel that drives a successful website to capture and keep visitors' interest, along with usable designs that meet or exceed the needs of their audience. Professional Web Developers are skilled at optimizing web site structure and interactivity. They use database tools and custom applications to enable the site to deliver the highest quality experience to the user. Graphic Designers use a wide range of computer programs and technologies to communicate messages in print, visual, audio, and video mediums. You can focus your training on learning the skills for one or more of these professions at the SLTATC.
