Conditions of Employment
The Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) of 1986, requires all employees to complete an Employment Eligibility Verification Form I-9 form no later than 72 hours from the date of employment. Failure to comply may result in termination of employment. For a list of acceptable documents in order to complete the I-9 see page 5 of the form.

- For Career Service positions, full or part time, first review of applications will take place 10 working days from posting date. Additional reviews may take place as needed until the position is filled.

- Salary determinations for new hires are based upon a combination of education and work experience and funding availability and generally do not exceed the midpoint of the assigned salary range.
Submission of Transcripts
Copies/unofficial transcripts for all required college/university academic preparation, showing degree awarded, and/or documentation of all required technical certifications must be presented prior to or at the interview for all faculty/adjunct faculty/instructional and professional staff positions for which you are applying. The College is the final authority in determining appropriateness and/or applicability of all credentials.
Applicants who have earned a degree from a foreign institution MUST attach to the application copies of the certified translation and evaluation from a NACES (National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, www.naces.edu) organization. The evaluation must be a course-by-course evaluation in the English language. The candidates are required to pay for the evaluation/translation services.
Screening Process of Application Packages
All applications are referred to the hiring departments for screening and interviewing. The search committee evaluates, interviews, and recommends applicants to the hiring supervisor.
Applicants who are selected for an interview will be contacted directly by a member of the search committee or the hiring supervisor. Three (3) work related references are required as a condition of employment.
Upon employment, a completed signed application and all documents required for employment by the College must be provided by the applicant selected.
