Course: Administering a Windows Network Infrastructure

Course Description
This course teaches how to install, manage, monitor, configure, and troubleshoot DNS (Domain Name Server), DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol), Remote Access, Network Protocols, IP (Internet Protocol) Routing, and WINS (Windows Internet Naming Service) in a Windows network infrastructure in a hands-on lab experience. In addition, the student will be taught what is required to manage, monitor, and troubleshoot Network Address Translation and Certificate Services. Prepares student for exams such as the Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) exam, which is one exam in the Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certifications. Recommended prerequisite: Administering Windows Server.

Certificate
Completion of this course certifies proficient network installation and managing skills based on a score of 80% or higher on competency exams. A Certificate of Technical Competency is available upon request.
