Course: CDL Class A Long Combination Vehicle Training

Course Description
The Long Combination Vehicle (LCV) Doubles and Triples course consists of 24 hours of over-the-road instruction and practice which covers all the necessary DOT rules and regulations and safety issues related to LCV's. The driving portion of the course consists of 24 hours of driving and driving observation. All the instruction leads to the LCV endorsement on the students Class A CDL license.

Certificate
Completion of this course results in an SLTATC Certificate of Skills Competence. Completion of this course with a current Class A CDL will also result in a DMV LCV endorsement.

This is a competency-based coursed offered on a defined schedule.

Course Length
The defined length of this course is 24 hours of driving training divided between the practice driving ranges and the public roads

Specific Course Admission Requirements
Students must be at least 18 years of age and must either have completed all other coursework for the CDL Program or possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.

Individual student cost depends on the number of students enrolled. The total cost for course is $1,049, but this cost may be divided among up to five students.
