Course Description
The CDL Class A Supplemental Training course consists of 40 hours of over-the-road instruction and practice designed to meet the 160 total training hours required by many national trucking companies.
Certificate Completion of this course results in an SLTATC Certificate of Skills Competence.
This course fulfills elective requirements for the following Programs:
Course Structure This is a competency-based coursed offered on a defined schedule.
Course Length The defined length of this course is 40 hours of driving training divided between the practice driving ranges and the public roads
Specific Course Admission Requirements Students must be at least 18 years of age and must either have completed all other coursework for the CDL Program or possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.

Tuition and Fees Individual student cost depends on the number of students enrolled. The total cost for the course is $1,977, but this cost may be divided among up to four students.
