This course will prepare students to use a computer and it is intended for students (including ESL students) with no previous experience with computers. After successfully completing this course, students will be able to: Identify the parts of a Computer, hold and use the Mouse, log onto the Computer, log off the Computer, type using the Keyboard, open and close Word, and type in addresses and click on links on Internet Explorer. This course is a recommended pre-requisite for all other Learning Center courses.

This is a competency-based course offered in open-entry/open-exit format through the Learning Center.

Horizonte Instruction and Training Center: Monday - Friday, normal school hours

PPFH: Tuesday-Thursday, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
