Programs and Courses The SLTATC offers nearly 40 different programs and over 100 courses in five major areas of study: Business Technologies, Information Technologies, Health Care Technologies, Public Safety, and Transportation Technologies. Simply select an area of study from the menu on the left to learn more about each industry, the careers available, and the training we provide. Individual program and course information, including course locations and possible restrictions, is available through those sites as well.
Most programs and courses have an open-entry, open-exit format, allowing students to enter when they choose and at the hours they choose instead of being restricted to a defined schedule. The college does offer some defined programs and courses. In either case, students enter a program with the goal of obtaining a marketable skill, taking only the courses that lead to that goal. As study is self directed and competency-based, students progress at their own rate and can complete courses at their optimum speed.

Workshops and Seminars In addition to its regular programs and courses, the College offers a variety of on-going workshops and seminars. The offerings range from specialized training for specific industries to introductory classes in multimedia applications.
